Medicare Insurance Made Easy

Medicare Supplemental Plans in Tarrant County, TX

Here at Ashford Insurance, we represent several major carriers for Medicare Supplement plans (aka Medigap policies) and Medicare Part D drug plans. We will help you find the plan that suits your healthcare needs, and your financial budget as well.

Medicare Supplement Insurance, also known as Medigap, can help fill in the gaps in coverage that Original Medicare (Part A and Part B) doesn’t cover, such as deductibles, copayments, and coinsurance. Here are some of the benefits that Medigap policies can cover:

  1. Medicare Part A coinsurance and hospital costs: Medigap policies can help cover the coinsurance and hospital costs that you may have to pay for inpatient hospital care beyond what Medicare covers.

  2. Medicare Part B coinsurance or copayments: Medigap policies can help cover the coinsurance or copayment amounts you may be responsible for when receiving medical services under Part B.

  3. Blood transfusions: Medigap policies can cover the cost of the first three pints of blood you receive in a medical procedure.

  4. Skilled nursing facility care coinsurance: Medigap policies can cover the coinsurance amount you may be responsible for when receiving care in a skilled nursing facility.

  5. Part A hospice care coinsurance or copayments: Medigap policies can help cover the coinsurance or copayment amounts you may be responsible for when receiving hospice care under Part A.

  6. Part B excess charges: Medigap policies can help cover the excess charges you may incur when receiving medical services from providers who don’t accept Medicare’s approved amount as full payment.

It’s important to note that while Medigap policies can help cover some out-of-pocket costs, they do not cover all costs. For example, they do not cover prescription drugs, vision or dental care, long-term care, or hearing aids. If you’re considering a Medigap policy, make sure to compare plans and costs from multiple insurance companies before making a decision.
